Location: Belfast, UK
Perforce develops DevOps tools that improve software quality and security as well as team productivity for several of the world’s leading companies, such as PIXAR, CD Projekt Red, NASA, Verizon, Honda, NVIDIA.
Position Summary:
In this role, you'll be an integral part of the team, doing the kind of work we all do while learning from experienced developers. We'll personalize the workload for you, to ensure you learn and grow throughout your journey here. You will have a buddy to pair with on tasks, we want to make sure you feel comfortable asking questions and getting started, but you'll also get the chance to work independently when you feel ready.
Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to core team projects.
  • Learn and use new technologies while working on fun projects.
  • Code in languages such as Golang, Ruby, Java and use frameworks such as React and Ember, alongside other languages and tools.
  • Engage with the open-source community.
  • Receive continuous feedback on work to help you grow and improve.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate in one of the following degree courses; Computer Science, Computing Technologies, Software Engineering, Information and Communications Technology or Business Information Technology, and due to graduate in Summer 2025.
  • Available to start work in September 2023.
  • On 60% and above average across modules taken to date.
  • Not required but please shout out in your application if you have the following
    • Object oriented programming experience.
    • Scripting (programming in Ruby, Python, Perl, Bash) experience.
    • Cloud and Container experience e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes
